The Imp Hierarchy: Prioritizing the Right Targets

Agatha’s fight is all about strategy; you can’t just rush in swinging! The key to this challenge lies in managing the Imp Hierarchy.
Let’s go over the different imps and how to handle each one:

1. Umbral Imps – These are the priority target. Why? Because while they’re alive, Agatha is immune to all damage.
   You MUST kill these first. Trust me, don’t try to fight Agatha until these little devils are gone.

2. Fuming Imps – These explosive imps chase you around, leaving dark puddles on the ground.
   The best tactic? AOE them or Ignore them for the most part.
   Just stay out of their way and let their Plague Zones drop in a spot that doesn’t interfere with your strategy.

3. Imp Servants – These imps walk toward Agatha to heal her. MUST kill
   Slow and CC them to keep them from reaching her. You’ll need a few interrupts here, so don’t be afraid to waste some of those cooldowns.

4. Smoldering Imps – These imps are a bit of a low priority. Their firebolts can deal some damage, but they won’t ruin your run unless you’re not paying attention. Cleaving them down while focusing on Agatha is a good strategy.

Phase 1: The Platform – Breaking Agatha's Dark Fury Shield

Phase 1 starts with you on a platform surrounded by Agatha and her loyal imps. The key mechanics here are:

• Dark Fury: When Agatha casts Dark Fury, she gains a shield, and you’ll see a stacking dot that must be interrupted before it finishes. If the shield isn’t broken, Agatha is invulnerable. You’ll need to kill the Umbral Imps and interrupt her Dark Fury cast to break the shield. Easy, right?

• Agatha's Vengeance: At 50% health, Agatha will teleport to the back of the cave, and the fight becomes even more chaotic as she gets a few new tricks.

Keep in mind: always have an interrupt ready for when you break the Dark Fury shield. Don’t let her channel it to completion!

Phase 2: The Boulder Dash – Dodging Felfire Boulders

Phase 2 brings some new mechanics that will test your mobility and positioning. Felfire Boulders roll across the room and will stun you if you get hit.
Here's what you need to do:

• Avoid the Boulders: Indiana Jones them! These large flaming rocks will roll down lanes, and getting hit stuns you while dealing massive damage. Stay mobile, watch the shadows on the ground, and position yourself in a way that you can always see the boulders coming. If you can keep Agatha between you and the boulders, you’ll have a better chance of survival while you continue to DPS.

• Fel Lava Blast: Watch out for this small puddle of fire that will spawn under your feet. It despawns after a short time, but getting hit by it can ruin your run, so move quickly!

Class-Specific Tips for Agatha

This fight requires precise timing, so selecting the right class and abilities is crucial. Here are some class-specific strategies:

• Fury Warrior: Use Whirlwind to trigger Meat Cleaver and shred those imps. Victory Rush (and Impending Victory) will give you infinite healing since imps die constantly. The constant flow of imps should work in your favor. [laughs]

• Feral Druid: Use Brutal Slash for burst AoE on the Umbral Imps. Keep Thrash up to bleed everything and maintain control of the battlefield. [excited]

• Elemental Shaman: Chain Lightning and Earthquake are your best friends here. Use Capacitor Totem to stun the Imp Servants before they can heal Agatha.

• Fire Mage: Save Combustion for when Agatha shields herself with Dark Fury. It’s the perfect moment to burst her down before she can cast again.

Tip: Struggling with the add waves? Consider using some weapon enchant or/and Elixir to boost your damage and survivability.
