📃 Versions of Sunkiller Sanctum Delve

There are 3 versions of the Sunkiller Sanctum Delve, each with its own objectives and unique mechanics:

  1. Not What I Expected

  2. The Gravitational Effect

  3. Core of the Problem

📃 Not What I Expected

In Not What I Expected, the Twilight Blade’s experiments with Lightbloom spores have gone awry, leading to a dangerous mix of Light and Void threats. Your task is to deal with both the Domanaar Void units and Lightbloom invaders.

⚡ Quick Guide

Starting the Delve:
Speak to Darkmender Deremius Duskwalk, who has attempted to use Lightbloom spores to fight off the Void. However, the experiment has backfired, and you now face hostile Lightbloom and Void enemies. To start, you’ll need to collect Lightbloom crates and activate the Sanctum Security Panel.

  • Click seven Lightbloom Crates scattered around the delve.

  • Activate the Sanctum Security Panel to progress.

  • Fill the progress bar by defeating both Lightbloom and Void enemies.

  • Use Displacement Portals to create displaced clones that assist in combat. They last for about 5 minutes and help significantly.

Once the progress bar is full and you’ve completed the objectives, the delve ends. There is no boss fight in this version, so once you finish the tasks, you’re done.

📃 The Gravitational Effect

In The Gravitational Effect, you’ll use micro-singularities to navigate the sanctum and disable the shields protecting the final boss.

⚡ Quick Guide

Starting the Delve:
Talk to Riftblade Maella, who will explain the use of Micro Singularities, floating objects that can pull you into the air, allowing you to glide through the sanctum and collect Singularity Coils.

  • Collect five Singularity Coils by using the Micro Singularity mechanic to pull yourself to them.

  • Defeat enemies to fill the progress bar.

  • Place the collected coils in stabilizers to break the boss’s shield.

Once the coils are placed and the progress bar is filled, the boss will spawn. Head to the location marked on the map to engage the boss once everything is prepared.

📃 Core of the Problem

In Core of the Problem, you’ll face Domanaar forces invading the Sunkiller Sanctum to steal energized cores.
Your goal is to prevent the Devouring Host from obtaining these orbs and to use a network of portals to navigate the delve.

⚡ Quick Guide

Starting the Delve:
Speak to Null-Theroist Selune, who will ask you to collect 50 Energized Cores dropped by enemies throughout the delve.

  • Collect 50 Energized Cores and fill the progress bar by defeating enemies.

  • Use Singularity Portals to quickly travel around the delve, allowing you to collect cores and clear mobs efficiently.

Once the progress bar is full and you’ve collected all the cores, the boss will spawn.
Prepare for a showdown with Esuritus!

Delve Boss: Esuritus

The final boss of Sunkiller Sanctum is Esuritus, a Void entity that uses several deadly abilities.

Quick Guide

  • Crushing Rift: Avoid the damage circle around Esuritus. Standing in it will deal heavy damage.

  • Bolt: This is an interruptible cast, interrupt it to prevent moderate damage.

  • Gorge: Esuritus will devour Voidcallers, gaining 5% damage for each one. Kill the Voidcallers before this happens.

  • Voidcallers: These mobs summon debris that falls from the sky. Avoid getting hit by the falling debris.

  • Interrupt Bolt as often as possible to reduce damage.

  • Kill Voidcallers before Esuritus casts Gorge to prevent him from gaining extra damage.

  • Avoid Crushing Rift and falling debris to survive the fight.

The Delver’s Hub: Silvermoon City and The Bazaar

No more fragmented hubs! Here, you’ll collaborate with fellow adventurers, share knowledge, and accumulate power.
The Bazaar acts as a neutral ground for both the Horde and Alliance. But don’t mistake neutrality for weakness; this is where the power of the Void is confronted.

And speaking of power, Valeera Sanguinar, the masterful Delve companion, will be your guide.

What spec do you use for Valeera?

I haven't noticed much of a significant use in the DPS and Tank specs. Personally, I just use her as a healer, and it's the same with Brann.

Here is my current set (until I get her better skills)

Combate role - Healer
Combat Curio - Mantle of Stars
Utility Curio - Mandate of Sacred Death

📜FAQ / Quick Tips

What are Delves in World of Warcraft: Midnight?

World of Warcraft: Midnight Delves are role-agnostic, instanced PvE adventures designed for solo players or small groups of up to five. These short, repeatable scenarios offer a dedicated endgame progression path alongside traditional raids and Mythic+ dungeons. They feature 11 difficulty tiers and rotating daily objectives to keep gameplay varied.

Who is the new Delve companion in the Midnight expansion?

Valeera Sanguinar is the new seasonal companion for Midnight, replacing Brann Bronzebeard. Players can customize her role to act as a Tank, Healer, or DPS to complement their class. Her power is further augmented by "Curios" slottable artifacts that provide massive combat spikes or utility, such as the defensive Mantle of Stars.

How do I progress the Delver’s Journey and reach Rank 10?

The Delver’s Journey is a seasonal progression track consisting of 10 ranks, requiring a total of 42,000 points to complete. You can earn progress points by finishing Bountiful Delves (50–150 points), opening Bountiful Coffers with Restored Coffer Keys (250 points), and completing the weekly quest, "The Key to Success" (1,500 points).

What are Bountiful Delves and how do I get the best loot?

Bountiful Delves are daily rotating versions of standard Delves that offer superior rewards. To access the best gear, you must use a Restored Coffer Key on the Bountiful Coffer at the end of the run. Standard Delves provide non-upgradeable gear, making Bountiful runs the priority for character progression.

How do I defeat Nullaeus and unlock the Arcanovoid Construct mount?

Nullaeus is the Season 1 Nemesis boss located in the Torment's Rise Delve within the Voidstorm zone. To unlock the Arcanovoid Construct mount, you must defeat him solo on the "Challenge Tier" difficulty before the season ends. This encounter is a high-intensity skill check requiring precise interrupt discipline and hazard management.
