• Always Choose Bountiful Over Regular Delves: If you’re still spending time on regular delves, consider this: you’re wasting precious time. The rewards are terrible after Tier 3.

Gearing in Delves and the Great Vault

Regular Delves are going to give you the loot you deserve, huh? Think again.
These basic delves are about as useful as a mage’s fireball, sure, they’re fun, but they’re not going to get you anywhere.
Regular Delves only drop non-upgradeable gear, yes, you heard me right. No upgrades. They’re like the grocery store of Azeroth loot quick, easy, but completely forgettable.

But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
Enter Bountiful Delves, where the real rewards lie!
These beauties offer upgradable gear with increasing difficulty, making it worth every sweaty moment you spend.

Completing 2/4/8 Delves unlocks items in the Great Vault the following week. So if you want that sweet, sweet Hero-track gear in your vault, make sure to finish 8 Tier 8 runs every week. Don’t slack off. This is your chance to shine and get the loot that actually matters!

• Regular Delves = Garbage Loot: They don’t scale past Tier 3. So, unless you're a masochist, skip these.

• Bountiful Delves = REAL Loot: These delves will get you the upgradeable gear. Make sure to run them for maximum rewards.

• Unlock the Vault: Completing 2/4/8 Delves opens items in the Great Vault the next week. Focus on 8 Tier 8 runs to earn Hero-tier loot.

• Tier 4+ Delves = Bountiful Only: Seriously, do them ONLY when they’re Bountiful, and make sure you’ve got those Restored Coffer Keys in hand.

To unlock the Tier 4+ Delves, you’ll need to earn the Midnight Delves: Endgame achievement on at least one of your poor, poor characters.
But here’s the good news, you don’t need to grind every single Tier individually.
Complete Sunkiller Sanctum on Tier 7, and voilà, Tier 8 unlocks for ALL your Delves. It’s like a magical shortcut… sort of like how I shortcut my way to world domination.

• Delve Tiers = 1-11, with 1 being a baby walk in the park, and 11 being... well, a version of “fun.”

• Unlocking Tiers is Easy: Complete Sunkiller Sanctum on Tier 7, and all your Delves will unlock Tier 8 automatically. No need for excessive grinding.

• Loot Stops Scaling at Tier 8: Tiers 9-11 are for crests. And no, they don’t drop better loot, just a lot of wasted time.

Ah, Delver’s Bounty, the sweet reward for your efforts... and the perfect way to pad your pockets with gold!
Once a week, you get to loot this precious bounty from your Delves. But wait, it’s not just any random drop. Oh no, the biggest chance of getting the loot comes from Nullaeus, the Delve nemesis for Midnight Season 1.
And let me tell you, he’s no pushover, but if you manage to bring him down to 50%, he’ll drop a pile of gold that contains your Bounty and some extra loot for you to gloat over.

But that's not all, oh no, we never do things that simply. If you use a Delver’s Bounty Map during the same run, guess what? You get a Hidden Trove at the end, and it scales with the tier of your Delve. So, the higher the tier, the better the treasures. Can you feel the greed, I mean, the excitement? I can.

• Save your Delver’s Bounty for Tier 8+ Delves! You’ll get the maximum rewards at these levels. Trust me, your loot will thank you.

• Nullaeus is the key. Bring him down to 50% health, and you get your gold pile, your Delver’s Bounty, and, if you’re lucky, a Hidden Trove.

• Beacon of Hope: Buy it from Naleidea Rivergleam at the Delver’s Headquarters in Silvermoon for 5,000 Undercoins, and summon Nullaeus to your Delve after reaching the checkpoint.

Here’s how it goes:

1. Enter a Delve and reach the checkpoint, clear the surrounding area.

2. Use the Beacon of Hope to summon Nullaeus, bring him down to 50%, and enjoy the gold.

3. Loot the pile, get your Delver’s Bounty, and use it before you kill the final boss. That’s how the pros do it.

• Delver’s Bounty = weekly loot from Delves, with the biggest chance coming from Nullaeus.
